Shaker tape is used on all our Shaker ladder-back chair seats. It is a tough canvas-warp, cotton-weave narrow tape that is colour-fast. Tapes are available in the following solid and striped colours in 5/8" width. They can be purchased separately and easily woven onto any chair where splint or rush has been used before. The tape is $150 (Canadian funds) per 75 yard roll. Replacement cushion is $15. Tacks are $10 per package.

How much tape do I need?
1. Measure between front legs
2. Measure from front to back including seat rails
3. Multiply together
4. Divide by 5.3

Example:

16" by 14" seat
16 X 14 = 224
224 divided by 5.3 = 43 yards
