Extending the Table

Here are two ways we can extend a Harvest Table. End Leaves can be added to each end of the table, up to 18" wide. Another way is to use a Sliding Top where the leaves are added to the center of the table, and can be stashed neatly inside when not in use.

Sliding Top

The Sliding Top method is easy to use. A person can easily add leaves without assistance and the leaves are stowed inside the table when not in use. However, drawers cannot be installed on this type of table as the space is used for the leaves.

End Leaves

The advantage of using End Leaves to extend a table is that the table can still have drawers on the sides.
