The Elder's Chair was the largest chair made by the Shaker communities. This chair features a tall back, and an extra wide seat with added depth. A fine taper on the back legs and chair rungs lend a graceful appearance to this elegant chair.

Shaker Chair Tape
Shaker tape is used on all our Shaker ladder-back chair seats. It is a tough canvas-warp, cotton-weave narrow tape that is colour-fast. Tapes are available in a variety of solid and striped colours.
