All of our furniture is made of solid black Cherry. We also use Birdseye Maple and Oak. We use mortise and tennon, as well as dovetails for most of our joinery. This allows for the natural expansion and contraction of the wood to avoid splitting and warping. Black Cherry ages beautifully to a warm red-brown and gets better over time. A hand rubbed tung oil finish is not only satiny smooth to the touch, but will stand up to daily use. Table tops are lacquered for extra durability. We believe furniture should be beautiful but also functional. Furniture delivery is free to the Ottawa area and delivery is available to Southern Ontario and Western Quebec, charged according to distance. |
